Plasticity By Morgan Yacoe
Plasticity showcases the experimentation and manipulation of the human figure through form, color, material, and interdisciplinary application. Each piece lives in multiple capacities: as stand alone works, and as objects of innovation in fields of surgery, occupational therapy, and art education. Artist Morgan Yacoe is the 2020-2021 Artist in Residence here at the 4Most Gallery.
Plasticity is the intersection between artistic and medical knowledge. In the process of creating Plasticity Yacoe collaborated with doctors and artists to create her models. She thanks Dr. Mike Criccchio, Dr. Jessica Ching, Angela DeCarlis, Dr. Jennifer Rhodes and Dr. Santosh Kale for all their help.
