A group exhibition featuring work from undergraduate senior students of the School of Art and Art History including Marc Deniel Javier, Jessie White, Kathleen Anastasi, Willow Rachel, Baylee Bell, Sydney Butts, and Ashley Hicks.
The exhibition "Down To Earth" involves photography, sculptures, video, and paintings that explore issues of identity, consumerism, and gender roles and expand upon systems of representation. The artworks on display at 4Most Gallery this Friday were carefully selected based on a striking fascination with how the artists critically processed their philosophical thoughts of life, ecological consciousness, and emotions within the purview of their idiosyncratic approach to aesthetics that resonate with contemporary art culture.
